Haven Beach Club Sailing
Spend your days on the bay, make friends and learn a lifelong skill in the process. The Haven Beach Club sailing program offers opportunities for kids ages eight through 18, and is available to any and all skill levels. From first-time sailors to those wishing to compete in both local and regional regattas, the HBC sailing program is designed to make sailing both instructional and fun.
Our skilled instructors, all First Aid, CPR and U.S. Sailing certified, are local sailors who are anxious to share their passion for their sport, and aim to teach, challenge and encourage their students as well as instill a love for sailing.
Eligible students will be able to compete in the LBIYRA interclub regattas, held each Wednesday, or in the Haven Beach Club Saturday Series. In addition, the sailing program incorporates regular ‘Fun Friday’ days, designed by individual instructors, and enjoys two end-of-year HBC traditions, the annual Sail and Slide to Thundering Surf, and canoe/kayak trip in the Pine Barrens.
All of our sailors are celebrated and recognized at our annual awards night dinner.
