On Fridays, there is an optional practice from 4-5 pm for all ages.

Meet the Coaching Staff

Our coaches cannot wait for the start of this summer season! The main goals of our program are to develop swimming skills, practice sportsmanship and to establish camaraderie among team members.

The head coach is Kevin Closs. This is his 6th year coaching at HBC and his 4th year as the head coach. He cannot wait to meet all of the new members and reconnect with returning swimmers.

Morgan Parker and Erin Metcalfe will be the assistant coaches for this summer season. This will be first season coaching for both Morgan and Erin, though both have worked at HBC in past summers and are well-known and respected by the team.

All three of the coaches grew up at HBC and swam for the Hurricanes. They love the club and all of the members that make it such a great place for summer fun!

The fist day of Summer 2017 practice is June 26th and we cannot wait to get started. Go Hurricanes!
