The Haven Beach Club is one of the oldest nonprofit clubs on Long Beach Island. We are the only private club on the Island with an in-ground pool. Membership includes pool and club privileges.

Our membership is made up of approximately 200 families. We offer instructional programs in sailing and swimming and have a competitive swim team.

The Haven Beach Club hosts many adult and child social events throughout the summer and is primarily a social organization dependent upon the volunteerism of its members. As a result, a member from each household is required to work on at least one social event each season. This is a mandatory requirement and continuance of membership may be predicated on participation and involvement.

Haven Beach Club offers a variety of sailing programs. Our beginner sailors start at age eight, sailing an Optimist dinghy. Our older sailors learn to sail larger, single-handed boats, such as Sunfish and Laser, or double-handed boats, such as the 420.

Our swimming lessons include many levels--Water Exploration for the new swimmers to Stroke Refinement for our more experienced swimmers.

Swim Team members range from ages six to 17. Our team competes with other clubs on the Island--Barnegat Light, Brant Beach and Surf City Yacht Clubs and St. Francis Center.

All members are allowed guest and visitor privileges. Guests must be bonafide houseguests residing with a Club member during their stay on the Island. Houseguests may visit the pool and participate in Club social events upon payment of the applicable fee by the Club member. All guests must be accompanied by the Club member.
